Hello and Welcome to Calnet a multi repeater amateur radio system serving most of California and parts of Nevada. The Calnet system consists of numerous fulltime linked 440 MHz repeaters connecting San Diego to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. We have 440 MHz coverage in the areas of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Imperial, Riverside, San Diego, Kern, Ventura, Fresno, San Joaquin, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Cruz , Santa Clara, Placer, El Dorado, Washoe, Carson City and Douglas  Counties. We are a non-profit membership repeater group and invite all licensed operators to become members. Becoming a member is as simple as completing an application and donating the membership fee to the group. All funds are used to lease sites and maintain our crystal clear equipment.

If you are interested in learning more about Calnet, please go to our Membership Information page where you can receive information and find contacts in your area of operation who can answer your questions. Then send us a self addressed stamped envelope (S.A.S.E.) You will then receive, a Calnet Membership Application and Information pack including local frequencies.

One of the things that makes a great repeater system is its personality, and Calnet has a friendly, fun, and helpful group of users. You will find people in all sorts of professions with a huge variety of interests and hobbies. Take a look at the brief biographies sent in by some of our members.
